Welcome

Tinker Tango is an educational story app for children ages 2 to 6. These terms are an agreement between Tinker Tango (“we”, “us”) and the parent or legal guardian who creates the account. By creating an account, confirming parental permission, or allowing a child to use the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Accounts are for grown-ups

• You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of each child using the learner profile.
• You are responsible for accurate account information, secure access to your Google or Apple account, and activity under your account.
• You decide whether the experience is suitable for your child and provide appropriate supervision.
• You may withdraw consent and delete learner information at any time.

What Tinker Tango is—and is not

Tinker Tango offers playful stories and interactions intended to encourage curiosity and early learning. It is not a substitute for schooling, professional tutoring, medical or psychological advice, childcare, or adult supervision. Content and automated systems can occasionally be incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. Please stop an experience that does not feel appropriate for your child and contact us.

Using the service fairly

You agree not to:

• Use the service unlawfully, harm others, or submit information you are not authorized to provide.
• Probe, bypass, disrupt, or defeat security, access, entitlement, safety, or rate-limit controls.
• Scrape, copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the service, stories, artwork, interactions, or underlying systems except where law expressly allows it.
• Use the service or its outputs to create a competing product, model, or dataset.
• Introduce malicious code or interfere with another person’s use.

Fees

Tinker Tango is currently free. If paid plans or purchases are introduced, we will describe the price and terms before you agree. You will not be charged merely because paid functionality is added later.

Content and ownership

The Tinker Tango name, software, characters, stories, artwork, audio, videos, interaction designs, and related materials belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant your family a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. This does not transfer ownership or permit commercial reuse.

You retain rights in information you submit. You authorize us and our service providers to process it only as needed to operate the service and as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

The service is evolving. Features, stories, supported devices, and availability may change. We may pause the service for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

Ending use

You may stop using Tinker Tango, withdraw parental consent, delete learner data, or delete the adult account at any time. We may restrict or close an account that violates these terms, threatens child safety, harms the service, or creates legal or security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the action.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; if you paid nothing, liability is limited to the minimum amount the law permits.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or children’s privacy rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India will resolve disputes, except where mandatory law in your location gives you other rights or requires another forum.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date on this page when these terms change. For material changes, we will notify the adult account in advance when reasonably possible. If a change materially expands learner-data processing, it will not apply without any renewed consent required by law.
